Agile Open Canada is run by volunteer organizers that are affiliated with local Agile groups in different western Canadian cities

Calgary

Gary Bergmann

Gary is a highly adaptable and trusted servant leader with 25+ years experiences in technology, focusing on Program and Project Management, Scrum Master, Development Manager and Agile Coach roles. Gary’s current focus is working with teams to optimize the flow of customer value, and develop loyal, high performing teams through Agile and Lean practice adoption. Gary is a volunteer organizer and facilitator for Calgary Agile Methods User Group (CAMUG) as well as Agile Open Canada. When not working, you can find him building guitars, snowboarding, mountain biking, and onewheeling.

Chantal De La Chevrotiere

Chantal is a full-stack software developer with a strong focus on backend development and an Agile enthusiast who loves bringing people together to share ideas and learn from one another. She thrives on solving challenging technical problems while fostering collaboration and growth. With experience in designing and implementing scalable software systems, Chantal combines technical expertise with a thoughtful approach to teamwork. Living in Exshaw, she enjoys adventuring in the Rockies. As part of the Agile Open team, she is excited to help create a space where collaboration and creativity can flourish.

BC Mainland

Klaus Boedker

Klaus is passionate about helping people and organizations navigate change and achieve their best. He continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in coaching and training. His current work is focused on equipping professionals with the skills they need to lead and thrive in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.

Living in Vancouver on Canada’s beautiful west coast, Klaus enjoys hiking in the local mountains with the family dog and perfecting his Negroni recipe.

Victoria

Molly Pilchar

Molly is a scrum master and agile coach, supporting software development and systemic change initiatives within the BC government. She is a lover of community and the great outdoors and lives with her partner and two kids on the unceded territories of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations (Victoria, BC).

Kristi Meredith

Kristi is an Agile Coach, trainer, and graphic recorder with over 10 years of experience in the Agile space, with a special focus on supporting the public sector. She’s passionate about strategic planning, helping teams align, and fostering people-first cultures. Outside of work and conference organizing, Kristi can be found playing and exploring the Island with her two young kiddos.
